FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS...
What does Hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis
doesn't have any specific 'feel' to it. Everybody
experiences a similar feeling each night before they go
to sleep in those final 10 seconds of awareness before
sleep comes.
The
important thing to remember is that you are not asleep,
in a coma or under a general anaesthetic and when you
come out of hypnosis, it feels like you have just had an
afternoon nap.
It
is perfectly safe...you are
simply in a state of deep
relaxation.
Will I remember what happens during the session?
The
basis of the therapy is the investigation of childhood
memories. When you come out of hypnosis, everything will
be remembered and you will be encouraged to tie in these
early memories with behaviour in the present day.
Does David Samson offer Gastric Mind Band
Hypnosis?
The hypnotherapy technique I offer is a novel approach
in dealing with weight control, relationship with food
and emotional eating issues. A non-surgical gastric band
procedure is available however the emphasis of my
technique is dealing with the psychological issues first
- in some cases this has led to dramatic reduction in
food intake without the need for the gastric band
procedure. |
